The Economic Development Department seeks to increase our tax and job base, and improve our visual environment by keeping our existing businesses here and healthy; by attracting new businesses; and by assisting with property development. Our efforts pay off in the form of the low tax rates and high quality services that our residents and business constituents have come to expect.

FROM THE NEWSLETTER
The Master Plan process is scheduled for completion at the end of
December with the final version presented at a public meeting in
January. The date is yet to be determined. Thus far, over 300 residents
and businesses have completed the on-line survey at
http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22CUQMCEU2T/.
This link is still open for anyone wishing to fill out the survey. Early
results from the mostly senior, long-time residents suggest that the
quality of life in Brook Park is good; however they are interested in
seeing neighborhood revitalization including improvements in
landscaping, lighting, curbs and sidewalks. They would like to see more
senior housing added to the community, and they would like to see
changes and improvements made at Brookgate shopping Center.
Goodwill Industries will officially open its doors on November 17th.
Goodwill is located in the Giant Eagle Plaza at 14690 Snow Road. Hours
of operation are 9AM – 5PM seven days a week.

V-6 EcoBoost engine were sold in 2011. The efficient, powerful twin-turbo
V-6 was one of the highlights that helped the F-150 win their 2012 Truck of
the Year.
NEW INVESTMENT IN BROOK PARK
Goodwill opened their Brook Park location at the Giant Eagle Plaza on
