Today, Mayor Coyne and the Department of Economic Development attended a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Cuyahoga Machine Company. Their entire company celebrated their expansion of a new addition of a new facility, new employees and new machine that was made possible by a Job Creation, Retention and Economic Development Grant Agreement given by the City of Brook Park, Ohio.
Mike Dolan, Brook Parks Economic Development Director guided us through the entire process, said Rick Vod who works closely with Cuyahoga Machine Company. He said, Brook Park has been exceptional in assisting in their business development plan and it’s also the greatest place to live.
Cuyahoga Machine Company (CMC), a 50 year old family business moved to Brook Park in 2012 and can be compared to an “Emergency Room” for parts and pieces of machines. The company is a full service metal fabrication and machine facility servicing the steel processing, mining, light/heavy construction and waste removal industries.
