Brook Park Fire Fighter Union #1141 and Mayor Tom Coyne Host “Halloween Firehouse Trick-or-Treat”
Brook Park Fire Fighter Union #1141 and Mayor Tom Coyne will host a “Halloween Firehouse Trick-or-Treat” on Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the MAIN Fire Station on 17401 Holland Road.
Families in Brook Park can have this opportunity to visit their neighborhood firehouse, receive candy from a safe venue and take part in Halloween festivities.
“Beginning at 5:30 pm Firefighters at the MAIN FIRE STATION will be handing out glow bracelets to Brook Park children so they will be safe and visible while trick or treating. Every parent wants their kids to have a safe and memorable experience on Halloween – and this almost guarantees it,” Mayor Coyne said.
Again, as a special treat on Halloween, beginning at 5:30 pm, at the main firehouse the firefighters will be giving away neon glowing bracelets to Brook Park’s little ghosts and goblins!
The glow bracelets are for all kids whether or not they are going to “trick or treat” here at the Main Brook Park Fire Station or in their own neighborhood. Not only are glow bracelets fun, but the bracelets are also great for night safety and could be life-saving.
“We’ll provide a safe place for kids to have some Halloween fun,” said Brook Park Local #1141 Firefighters President, Matthew Wright. “We are exciting to be working with City Hall and the community.”
