Football Information Page
Football registrations occur in June. Players will be notified by their
coaches what team they are on in Early August. (Pee Wee & Clinic
participants will be notified by mail in Mid-August).
The Rec Dept. provides most equipment, games balls, scorers, officials,
and fields to the above leagues. Game Days
and Times are Subject to change
Program Offerings
Pee Wee Football
Boys & Girls (ages 3-4)
Will be taught basic, large motor skills related to the game of
football. Emphasis is on participation and socializing with others.
Sessions will be held on Mondays or Wednesdays at Kennedy Football
Field.
Beginner Clinic Football Boys & Girls (ages
5-6)
Will be taught the fundamentals of football. Emphasis is on participating
and playing as a team. Instructional sessions will be played on either
Mondays and/or Wednesday evenings Kennedy Football Field.
Jr. Flag Football Boys and Girls (ages 7-8)
Will begin playing regulation games with a certified official and will use
flags to teach the fundamentals of the game. Games will be played on
Thursdays and Saturdays at Kennedy Football Field.
Junior Varsity Football Boys and Girls (ages
9-10)
Will play regulation games with certified officials. Football equipment
will be distributed by the Recreation Department. Games will be played
on Saturdays at Kennedy Football Field. Please note that some equipment
may need to be purchases separately and some traveling may be required.

Varsity Football Boys and Girls (ages 11-13)
Will play regulation games with certified officials. Football equipment
will be distributed by the Recreation Department. Games will be played

Clinic Cheerleading Girl’s (ages 5-6)
Will learn how to become cheerleaders in these (1) hour long clinics.
Cheerleading
Uniforms will be distributed by the Recreation Department. Clinics will
be held on Saturday mornings at Kennedy Pavilion (weather permitting) or
inside the Recreation Center.
JV/Varsity Cheerleading Girl’s (ages 7-9 JV &
ages 10-13 Varsity)
Will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. Learning cheers, chants and
dance routines to perform weekly at football games. Each squad will
practice during the week and perform on Saturday’s for their respective
football teams. Cheerleading uniforms will be distributed by the
Recreation Department.
