The Brook Park Recreation Department provides all

DEMETRIUS
JOHNSON BASKETBALL CAMP-
Date: 8/9/10-8/13/10.Time: 9:00am-1:00pm. Cost:
$100.00. Grades: 3rd-9th. Camp will place emphasis on: Ball
Handling, Shooting, Footwork, Technique, Rebounding,
Passing, Teamwork, and Understanding the game. For more info

JOHN J. WALSH SAFETY TOWN-
Class Dates/Times:
July 19—July 23 8:30 a.m.—11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.—2:30 p.m.
This free program is for 5 year old children entering Kindergarten in the
Fall. Children are taught citizenship, how to get along with others, rules
of traffic safety, how to deal with strangers, learning about community
members and helping the community. Each child will receive a free t-shirt.
Return completed student registration forms to the Police Department.

Travel Teams
Travel teams are available for boys and girls for most team sports.
These teams are on a tryout basis only. Contact the Recreation Center
for more information.
Independent Contract Opportunities
The Recreation Center is continually looking for individuals to
instruct or lead programs or have specific skills to offer. If you are
interested, contact the Recreation Center.
Volunteers
There are many volunteer opportunities available for people of all
ages and interests. With so many projects and programs to choose from,
there's bound to be something of interest to you or your group. To
