If the fruits and vegetables were any fresher, they would still be in the ground!

The long awaited “Plum Market” has officially opened here in Brook Park. At first glimpse, hundreds of gift baskets hung from the ceiling border the back wall. Colorful bursts of red, orange, yellow, and green fill the entire store and clean air permeates the room. Welcome to “Plum Market” a new specialty farmers market style grocer that is located at 13425 Snow Road, the corner of 130th Street and Snow Road.

The store, features healthy foods including fruits, vegetables, organic products, groceries and seasonal items at very competitive prices!

Mayor Coyne said, “This is a spectacular addition to our city and I already know our residents and friends in the surrounding suburbs are going to be thoroughly impressed. I am asking local residents to please stop by Plum Market and support this and all local stores. This store really kicks off a new beginning here in Brook Park!”

The store also has bins of nuts, rows of unique pasta sauces, baked goods, meats, and a full-service deli that makes specialized sandwiches and sandwiches du jour.

Plum Markets use a network of approximately 100 local growers that begin in May and runs through November. The Market will also sell seasonal items to include, flowers, pumpkins, and Christmas trees.
