Players will be notified by their coaches what team they are on in Early April
(Pee Wee & Clinic participants will be notified by mail in Early-May).
The Rec Dept. provides all equipment, games balls, scorers, umpires, and fields to the above leagues. Travel teams are available for boys and girls ages 9-17. These teams are on a tryout basis only. Fees are collected when the player has been selected. Contact the Rec. Center for details. Game Days and Times are Subject to change

Program Offerings

T-Ball Boys & Girls (ages 3-4)
Will be taught basic, large motor skills related to the game of baseball. Emphasis is on participation and socializing with others. Sessions will be held on Mondays or Wednesdays at American Legion Park.

Beginner Clinic T-Ball Boys & Girls (ages 5-6)
Will be taught the fundamentals of baseball. Emphasis is on participating and playing as a team. Instructional sessions will be played on either Mondays and/or Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings at American Legion Park.

Advanced Clinic T-Ball Boys & Girls (ages 5-6)
Will be playing structured games and stressing the fundamentals of baseball. Instructional games will be played on Saturday mornings at American Legion Park.

Boys Pitching Machine Boys (ages 7-8)
Will begin playing regulation games with a pitching machine replacing the pitcher in order to insure maximum participation. Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays at Wedo Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Girls Coach Pitch Girls (ages 7-8)
Will begin playing regulation games with a coach replacing the pitcher in order to insure maximum participation. Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays at American Legion Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Boys “A” Boys (ages 9-10)
Will play regulation games where a pitching machine is used, and boys will begin to pitch in the second 1/2 of the season. Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays at Wedo Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Girls “A” (Fastpitch) Girls (ages 9-10)
Will play recreation fastpitch softball games. Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays at American Legion Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Boys “AA” Boys (ages 11-12)
Will play traditional little league baseball. Games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays and/or Saturdays at Wedo Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Girls “AA” (Fastpitch) Girls (ages 11-12)
Will play recreation fastpitch softball. Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Friday at American Legion Park. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Boys “AAA” Boys (ages 13-14)
Will play a more advanced level of baseball. Games will be played at Plant Lane Monday through Thursdays. Make-up games will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Girls “AAA” Girls (ages 13-14)
Will play a more advanced level of slowpitch softball. Games will be played on Tuesdays at Forbes Softball Field. Some travel is involved to surrounding cities. Make-ups will be played on Saturdays & Sundays.

Boys Majors Boys (ages 15-17)
Play high school level baseball with teams from area suburbs. Some travel is involved. Home Games will be played at Plant Lane.

Girls Majors Girls (ages 15-18)
Play slow pitch softball with teams from area suburbs. Some travel is involved. Home games will be played at Kennedy Softball Field.
