Monthly MembershipsWant to check out all the Community Center has to offer but not ready to commit to an annual membership? Monthly Memberships are $10 a month for residents and $20 a month for non-residents.
Travel TeamsTravel teams are available for boys and girls for most team sports. These teams are on a tryout basis only. Contact the Community Center for more information.
Independent Contract OpportunitiesThe Community Center is continually looking for individuals to instruct or lead programs or have specific skills to offer. If you are interested, contact the Community Center.

We are closed all day on the following days: New Years Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th. Fridays and Saturdays during Home Days, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Community Center has men’s and women’s locker rooms for your use. You will need to provide your own lock, towel and soap. Lockers are available on a first come, first serve basis. Locks need to be removed after each use of the facility. Locks left on overnight will be removed by management. Children over six years of age are not permitted in opposite sex locker rooms. Each locker room is equipped with hand and hair dryers. We also have two family changing rooms. To access these rooms please request the supervisor on duty through the front desk. Please remember these always are designed to be used by families, seniors or persons with a disability, one is handicapped accessible.
American Legion Park
American Legion Park is located on Zaremba Drive. The park features a state-of-the-art playground structure, picnic pavilion, picnic tables, rest rooms, basketball court, two baseball/softball fields, bench seating and plenty of open area.
John Bernath Park
John Bernath Park is located at the corner of Holland Road and Hardin Drive. The newly remodeled park features state-of-the-art playground structures, and bench seating.
Carpenter Park is located at the corner of Sheldon Road & Christene Blvd. The park includes state-of-the-art playground equipment, plenty of benches, cement walkways and open space.
James E. Cavanaugh Park
Cavanaugh Park is located on Elm Avenue. The newly renovated park includes a covered picnic area, state-of-the-art playground equipment, picnic benches and plenty of open space.
Fry Road Park
Fry Road Park is located on Fry Road closer to Sheldon Road. Parking is available on Fry Road. The park includes state-of-the-art playground equipment, bench seating, and plenty of open grass and shaded areas.
Gallatin Park is located on Gallatin Blvd. off of Smith Road. The park features a state-of-the-art playground equipment, bench seating, 1 unlighted basketball court, plenty of open area and shade.
John F. Kennedy Park
Kennedy Park is located on Sylvia Drive between Fry and Engle Roads.. The park features two pavilions with open fire places, restrooms, plenty of picnic tables located under the pavilions and in various locations throughout the park as well as grills for cooking those hotdogs or hamburgers. It also has four horseshoe courts, four bocce ball courts including one handicap accessible. There are cement walkways throughout the park along with plenty of benches for just relaxing or watching your child play on our state-of-the-art playground. The pavilions are rentable by contacting City Hall at 216-433-1300, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Joe Konery Park
Joe Konery Park is located off Sylvia and Leslie Drives. This park includes a ball field, restrooms, state-of-the-art playground equipment, picnic tables under a pavilion, cement walkways, benches and plenty of shade.
McGovern Park is located on Middlebrook Blvd. The park features a state-of-the-art playground structure, covered pavilion, picnic tables, rest rooms, bench seating and plenty of open area.
Stonecrest Park is located on Stonecrest Drive between Birchcroft and Southway Drives. This newly renovated park includes a state-of-the-art playground equipment, bench seating, cement walkways, and plenty of shade and open area.
Sylvia Park is located off Sylvia Drive across from Zehman Drive. The park features plenty of open grass area, state-of-the-art playground equipment and bench seating around the playground.
Angelo Wedo Park
Wedo Park is located on Shelby Drive north of Hummel Road. The park features concession stand with shelter, restrooms, state-of-the-art playground structure, 1 unlighted basketball court, two baseball fields, picnic tables and plenty of open area.
Hours of operation will be daily from Hours of Operation: 12 noon to 7pm. Seasonal Waterpark passes are on sale now inside the Recreation Center during normal business hours Mon-Fri 6:00am-8:45pm, Saturdays 8:00am- 4:45pm.and the building is closed on Sundays. Our hours for the building during the month of June are Monday – Friday, 6am-9pm; Saturdays, 8am-5pm and we’re closed on Sundays. To be connected to our Alice M. WATER PARK RENTALS
If you are interested in having a birthday party, family reunion or a friendly get-together, rent the patio area at the Water Park. Cost: Resident: Parties of 25 or less $165. Parties of 26 or more $195. Non-Resident: Parties of 25 or less $205. Parties of 26 or more $235
Fees include admissions, swim passes (valid all day), private rental to the patio area. Patio area is valid for three hours. An additional $6 per person per resident and $8 per person per non-resident for counts above the number on the contract.
Rental Hours: Saturday-Sunday 12:00-3:00 p.m. or 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Renters supply own decorations which much be approved.
A rental deposit (50%) must be paid at the time of the contract signing. The remainder is due the day of the party. Renters are responsible for clean up. Renters are responsible for any damage. Refunds are only issued for inclement weather. The Rec Center will work with renters to make alternate arrangements. The Rec Center will not permit moving the party inside. The indoor pool closes for severe weather.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR WATER PARK
Follow lifeguard instructions at all times
Please shower before entering the water.
No diving, running or horseplay.
The Water Park is a non-smoking facility. Smoking will only be permitted outside the park entrance.
No glass or metal containers are allowed.
Proper swim attire is required. No cut-offs, bathing suits only.
Disposable diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers or rubber pants only.
No flotation devices allowed. This includes water wings, noodles, float insert bathing suits, baby boats or rafts. Coast guard approved life jackets only.
No balls, toys, diving rings or snorkels are permitted.
Children 6 years old and under must have a parent in and out of the water with them at all times.
All food and drink are restricted to the concession area.
Plastic bottles of plain water will be permitted on the pool deck and grass area.
Memberships can be purchased during normal business hours
throughout the year.
