THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
BROOK PARK RECREATION CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE—July 27, 2020 NEW
All City Playgrounds Have Re-opened as of June 10th per the State of Ohio
The Recreation Center will reopen on June 22nd at 8:00am
The Waterpark will be closed this Summer due to COVID-19
Brook Park Homedays scheduled for July 10-12 has been cancelled due to COVID-19
Youth summer programming including tee-ball, baseball, softball and tennis have been cancelled.
In collaboration with the Berea Baseball Association and the City of Middleburg Heights, the City of Brook Park has decided to unfortunately cancel our youth tee-ball, baseball and softball leagues for this summer. We have also decided to cancel our summer tennis program. Please read the attached letter for a full response regarding our cancellation. We do still plan on holding some summer activities for the kids that will be a lot easier and safer to administer. For all registered participants we will be issuing a credit to each person’s account for the full registration fee PLUS an additional $5 for any inconvenience. These credits can be used towards any future Brook Park Rec activity, program, sport or membership. We are sorry we had to make this very difficult decision but we felt it was imperative to the health and well-being of the youth of our community. If you should have any questions please email us at email@example.com. Please check back often to our Facebook page for updates and future programming. Thank you and we hope you have a safe and healthy summer!
Please note we will issue refunds if a credit is not sufficient. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your child’s name address and phone number and we will process a refund. Please note a refund will not have the $5 credit attached to it. Refunds will take a few weeks to process.
