Brook Park Recreational Facility Rental Information
If you are planning an event or celebrating a special occasion, please consider the John A. Poloyne Community Center. We are an ideal facility for your next birthday party, anniversary, baby shower, wedding shower, communion, retirement, luncheon, wedding, or business meeting. We offer an hourly rate for both residents and non-residents. Prices vary based on your room selection! Please Contact 216-433-1545 for more information or to tour the rooms!


It’s A Great Time To Sign Up For A Fitness Class
Monday-Zumba: 6:00 – 7:00pm
Tuesday-Vinyasa Yoga: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Tuesday-Body Sculpting: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday–Body Sculpting: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday-Zumba: 9:15am – 10:30am

All the Fitness Classes are held in the ‘Brook Park Room’, which is newly renovated and located downstairs in the Recreation Center. Fitness classes do charge a fee. We invite you to stop in and give it a try.


Silver Sneakers Fitness Program
Is an innovative fitness program offered through participating health plans that give you access to 13,000 gyms nationwide. The Silver Sneaker age is 65 and older. Offering a diverse range of classes from low impact to high intensity. The best part, it’s free. Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 10:15am in the Mini Gym.

You can still participate even if you are not a member for just $3.00 per class.


Monthly Memberships

Want to check out all the Community Center has to offer but not ready to commit to an annual membership? Monthly Memberships are $15 a month for residents and $30 a month for non-residents.

Volunteers

We welcome all who would like to volunteer their time to coach the youth in our community. With so many sports or programs, we are always looking for volunteers! If you are interested – please call the Recreation Department.

The Recreation Center is the community’s most popular gathering place throughout the year. We offer a wide range of recreational, educational, athletic, and wellness programs.

The city of Brook Park has 12 neighborhood playgrounds. The largest being Kennedy Park, which includes 2 picnic pavilions, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, and is also home to the Veteran’s Memorial.

The Outdoor Waterpark is the coolest, wettest, and largest gathering place in the city every summer. Besides all the fun you will have with the water attractions, we invite you and your school camp, day camp, or church group to reserve a day and time. It’s a great place for your Birthday Party. Our monthly Movie Nights are a fabulous way to spend an evening with family, friends, and neighbors. Please don’t forget one of the craziest and wildest times is the final day the pool is open for the summer, it’s “DOGS GONE WILD” at our Annual Dog Swim! Below is a list of other features:

We have six (6) ballfields under the direction of the Recreation Department. Many of these fields have the capabilities of playing both baseball and softball. It also provides us the flexibility to schedule youth and adult on the appropriate size fields. The largest is Kennedy Field, a grass infield, and 410’ to center field. Kennedy Field is also the official home of the Berea Midpark High School Boys Baseball Titans.
